Terraneo Clearbody Budgie

One of the three clearbody mutations, it was developed and named after American breeder G. Terraneo in 1954. The mutation was sex-linked, lightened body color, and had opaline-like markings with green or blue body color. It was so similar to Opaline that some believed it to be an allele on the same gene as Opaline. Unfortunately, the Terraneo Clearbody has since gone extinct. Due to their similarities to the Opaline mutation, some breeders believe that the variety remains as misidentified Opalines. The right-most bird in the given image shows what Terraneos COULD have looked like, with paler body color, brown wings, and Opaline-like markings.
