Australian ringneck x Red-capped parrot

A mostly green bird with an aqua-colored front and dark grey cap. A small red-orange marking can be found just above the beak and a faded yellow stripe can be seen on the nape. These features indicate that the Australian ringneck parent was likely the mallee subspecies. These hybrids almost always occur in the wild.
