Catalina macaw x Catalina macaw (Second generation catalina macaw)

Second generation catalina macaws are one of the few macaw hybrids that is regularly crossed to itself. They are similar, but generally brighter than first generation catalinas. Most second gens have a somewhat large patch of red-orange feathers above their beaks, while first gens instead have a smaller or non-existent patch. In the given image, a second gen is pictured left while a first gen is pictured right.
