At least four Catalina x hyacinth hybrids are known to exist: one with red chest coloration, two with orange chest coloration, and one with yellow chest coloration. Other than this, their feathers are dark bluish-green and their facial skin is white or off-white. These rare hybrids are 50% hyacinth macaw, 25% scarlet macaw, and 25% blue and gold macaw.
