Can be difficult to identify. Hybrids are fully white with slightly blue-colored eye skin and a larger overall size. Their crests may appear somewhat moluccan-like, with large feathers and some slight yellow mixed in.
Appears similar to a mobrella hybrid (moluccan + umbrella), though with slightly blue eyes. Although it appears citron, the yellow-orange from the crest is the result of the moluccan’s pink crest feathers and the blue eyed’s light yellow crest feathers. These hybrids are particularly popular in India and Thailand.
Like other blue-eyed cockatoo hybrids, they are more common in Asian countries. The pictured individual was hybridized with the greater sulphur-crested cockatoo subspecies, further increasing its size. Aside from this, they have two main differences from pure sulphurs: their slightly blue-ish eye ring and a moluccan-like crest.
