Cinnamon Senegal parrots have many similarities to dilute, another mutation found in the species. Their plumage is brownish green with a grey head and normal yellow-orange vest. This specific browner tinge helps identify a cinnamon over a dilute or any other similar mutation.
Yellow markings on pied Senegal parrots can be found on all parts of the body in varying amounts. While “pied” is common in meyer’s and Senegal parrot hybrids, these markings are (probably) not due to a single mutation like true pied is.
