Opaline is one of the most common mutations found in eastern rosellas. Birds with this mutation have increased red on their upper wings, obscuring some of their black scalloped markings in the process. In the first image, an opaline individual is pictured left, while an opaline + lutino (called rubino) is pictured in the second image.
