Brown-headed parrot x Meyer’s parrot

The first report of this hybrid came in a 1985 article of Aviculture Magazine, but have likely been bred before this instance. They aren’t identified very often due to the similarities of both species (particularly the several varieties of meyer’s parrot without a yellow crown). Hybrids may have diminished yellow markings on their crown and shoulders. The two hybrid individuals are pictured in the center.
