Danish Violet Peach-faced Lovebird

A mutation developed in Denmark in 1982 that slightly darkens the bird’s coloration. They are most easily identified by their dark, cobalt-blue rumps. Violet is usually combined with whiteface for a more contrasting look. Pictured first is a SF violet + opaline, pictured second is a SF violet + whiteface, and pictured third is a DF violet + whiteface.
