Blue mutation plum-headed parakeets are fully blue with slightly darker wings and head markings that differ based on the bird’s sex. While males have a mixed white and cobalt heads surrounded by a thin black ring, females have a grey head surrounded by a white ring. This mutation is somewhat popular but can be difficult to acquire.
