A hybrid that is often bred by accident in captivity, but is sometimes produced on purpose in order to transfer scaly-breasted mutations into the red-collared breeding pool. Red-collared x scaly-breasted hybrids have a blue head, orange nape, and a red-orange chest that may be somewhat obscured by green coloration.
