A bright red and yellow macaw with blue flight feathers and blue-green coverts. The red of a sunburst macaw is much stronger than the red of other yellow-orange hybrids, easily differentiating them from yellow-dominant camelots (Catalina x scarlet) and tropicanas (harlequin x scarlet). They were first bred by ParrotDaddy in 2021 and are very large in size. Sunbursts are 75% scarlet macaw and 25% great green macaw.
